CHILDREN ARE US

Schneider Children’s Medical Center, the leading pediatric hospital in Israel, is proud to launch a new and broadsweeping podcast about pediatrics, aimed at parents: CHILDREN ARE US. The podcast will feature interviews with Schneider’s pediatric specialists, all leaders in their fields in Israel and abroad, who will discuss issues of interest to parents of children from infancy to young adulthood.

How to raise a healthy infant? What is important to know about infectious diseases in children? What are considered emergency situations and how to assess and treat eating disorders in small children? These and other topics will be presented clearly and simply by specialists who have the latest comprehensive and authentic information in childhealth. Thus parents, grandparents, educators, and other health professionals who wish to expand and deepen their knowledge in a range of pediatric disciplines can enjoy the broadcasts at any time and in any place.

Supervising the podcasts are Dr. Orly Michaeli, former facilitator of “Kolah shel Ima” (lit. the mother’s voice) and a pediatric hemato-oncologist at Schneider Children’s, and Hila Ra’anan, entrepreneur and content manager, and founder and director of the Developy Group on Facebook.

As part of Schneider Children’s credo to reach above and beyond for every child, to make information accessible and advance children’s health in the community so they will grow into healthy adults in the future, the hospital has established the “Children are Us” podcast together with other digital services. The podcast is available on all podcast apps and on Schneider Children’s website.
