Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel (SCMCI) has revolutionized pediatric medicine in Israel and throughout the Middle East since its establishment in 1991. As the only tertiary hospital for children from birth to 18 years old, SCMCI delivers trailblazing medical care for all children, of all backgrounds from Israel and around the world.
Working in partnership with SCMCI, The Children’s Health Alliance for Israel (CHAI) is the American non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of SCMCI through philanthropic support of capital projects, acquisition of medical equipment, research grants, and special initiatives. Established by SCMCI’s visionary founders, Irving and Helen Schneider, CHAI proudly carries out their dream of ensuring state-of-the-art pediatric healthcare for the children of Israel and beyond.
Today, we are delighted to announce our new name – American Friends of Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel (AFS). This moment marks a new chapter in our story, elevating our unwavering commitment to SCMCI during this unprecedented time.
Join us to support the dedicated teams at SCMCI and the children they care for by donating here and keeping in touch. Together, we can ensure that SCMCI has the resources to go above and beyond every day for every child.
